A perfect coastal day, planned the way we would for ourselves

The hour-by-hour outline of a day at the resort we would craft for ourselves on a Tuesday in late June. Adapt as you wish.

07:00 · Quiet swim

The pool is empty and towel service has not begun yet. A coffee cart waits by the entrance with single-origin filter coffee, no menu and no queue. This is the finest half hour of the day.

08:30 · Terrace breakfast

Eggs to order, pastries from the kitchen oven, a small plate of seasonal fruit. We do not believe in breakfast buffets. We believe in plates carried by waiters who have served the same families for ten years.

10:00 · Spa or sea

Either works. The spa hammam is bright and hushed in the morning. The sea is calmest before midday. Most guests pick one and wish they had done both; the rare guest manages both.

13:30 · Long lunch

Three hours at the lagoon bistro, with a bottle of light white and a plate of grilled fish you did not know you wanted. No phones, no hurry. This is the meal you will remember.

18:00 · Golden hour terrace

Aperitif on the upper deck. The bar staff will know your name by the second day. The signature negroni rests on a vermouth we make on-site; it is the most surprising drink on the property.

21:00 · Tasting menu

Eight courses, two hours, one wine pairing. We have spent years shaping this evening. We hope it repays the journey.

23:30 · A short hour at the table

Or a slow walk back to the suite. Either way: tomorrow begins at 07:00 with a swim, and the cycle is the entire point.
